Microblading aka Nano brows
For fluffy, natural brows
Nano brows are the new and improved version of microblading. Unlike microblading we now use a machine instead of a microblade to create tiny little lines in the skin with ink, resulting in an eyebrow tattoo that looks like hairstrokes. This option shows a lot more skin than the other techniques and for that reason many people think it’s the most subtle and natural-looking.

Good to Knows:
• Nano brows are significantly less traumatic than microblading but still give the same fluffy look of microblading
• Using the machine to create hairstrokes now allows clients with oily skin to get "microblading"
• A consultation is REQUIRED for clients with EXISTING permanent makeup NOT done at Made by Dr. Mckenzie

Ombre Powder Brows
For soft and airy brows
The ombre powder brow technique is done with a small machine that gently inserts pigment into the skin giving the brows a very soft and misty look. No hair strokes are placed, so the brow is fully covered with a light color, and little pigment is placed at the start of the brow for a soft look. This does not look like old traditional block brows! It’s soft and pretty, like a light makeup fill.

• No hair strokes are created
• Lasts longer than the other techniques
• Minimal trauma to the skin
• Less touch ups required
• A consultation is REQUIRED for clients with EXISTING permanent makeup NOT done at Made by Dr. Mckenzie
• Great for all skin types, especially oily skin

Microblading with Shading Aka Combo Brows
For fuller looking brows
The combo brows (aka microblading with shading) technique combines both hair strokes and shading into one blended outcome. First, hair strokes are completed throughout the brow. Then with the same machine, shading is added to give the brows a 3D effect. This makes the brows look fuller and slightly more pigmented than can be achieved with just microblading hairstrokes alone.

• Looks like hair strokes but with a lot more coverage
• Lasts longer than microblading
• Still some hairstrokes (aka microblading), however less hairstrokes are needed than with nano brows alone (aka microblading alone)
• Using a machine allows for the brows to experience significantly less trauma to create hairstrokes unlike microblading where the skin is CUT then pigment is pushed in
• Best option for those with little to no hair, or large holes in their natural brows
• A consultation is REQUIRED for clients with EXISTING permanent makeup NOT done at Made by Dr. Mckenzie
• Good option for people with oily skin

Permanent Brow Consultation
If you have questions about whether you're an ideal candidate for a microblading or permanent makeup treatment, which treatment would be best, or if you simply want to get a clearer idea of how the process works, schedule in for a consultation.​

• Your consultation can be completed virtually via Zoom or over the phone​
• A consultation/approval is REQUIRED for clients with EXISTING permanent makeup NOT done at Made by Dr. Mckenzie
• If you have existing permanent makeup and simply just want to be approved to book, you can email us three well-lit photos of the tattooed area. Please allow 48 business hours for response.

Microblading and Powder Brow Touchups
Perfection is achieved at your touchup
Good to Knows:
• A Perfection Touchup is part 2 of your treatment that is scheduled by you, 5-8 weeks after your initial procedure for microblading, microblading and shading, and ombre powder brows
• Yearly touch up 12-24 months from your last microblading, microblading and shading, and ombre powder brow appointment
• Please note, a consultation is required if you have previous permanent makeup NOT completed at Made by Dr. Mckenzie
Eyebrow Touchup Pricing:
5-8 week touch up: $150
Yearly touch up (12-24 months): $350
Yearly Microblading + Shading (12-24 months): $400
Henna Brows
Temporary soft and airy brows
Henna is an all natural product that tints the brow hairs and skin. It lasts up to 2 weeks on skin and 6 weeks on hair. A patch test is recommended for clients with sensitive skin and history of allergic reactions to pigments including hair color or tint.
